The founder and owner of ParaProductions is our database guru, Lisa Walker.  Lisa has 16 years of expertise in designing databases in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Access along with other obscure, obsolete and older databases.  She has also been designing websites for 11 years in HTML, XML, JavaScript, Visual Basic, VBScript, VBA, ASP.net, Java, and CGI.  Lisa has written programs in over 20 different programming languages over the years.  Her expertise in computers spans over 26 years in computer software and hardware. 

Lisa has worked with NASA at Kennedy Space Center, the US Air Force, and in the manufacturing and utilities sectors.  She has worked for and with such companies as Auto-trol Technology, Agile Software, Kliklok Corporation, Matrix-One, the Van der Roest Group, AutoDesk, SolidWorks, Dominion Virginia Power, and Altek Corporation.

Lisa has spoken at various conferences on Product Data Management (PDM) and custom programming.  In the early 90’s she designed a custom PDM program for Kliklok Corporation, a packaging machinery company, on top of a document management program and did not realize that what she had designed would become what is now called PDM.  Her specialties in PDM are Bill of Materials, Product Structures, Product Lifecycles, Enterprise Change Management, and Configuration Management.

Lisa was educated at Georgia Institute of Technology and holds a B.S. in Computer Science along with a minor in Nuclear Engineering.  Her specialties in Computer Science are databases, configuration management, CMM (Capability Maturity Model) and networks.  She was brought into the Internet Age while going to school at Georgia Tech in the mid 1990’s and has been working with the Internet since 1994 – the inception year of the Information Super Highway.

Lisa is past President of the Orlando Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).  Through this Lisa is working to help small business owners have their voice heard in our government on issues such as healthcare and procurement.  Lisa is also working on many programs to help support women business owners to grow their businesses.  To find out more about NAWBO, please visit the NAWBO Orlando website at:  http://www.nawboorlando.org or

Lisa is originally from National Park, New Jersey – right across the Delaware River from Philadelphia, PA.  Now she is enjoying sunny Florida for the rest of her life.
